Quest #4, AMAs, Trivia and Pitch Practice Sessions
Hi there,
We have a little less than 3 weeks left of the hackathon, hope you are progressing nicely with your projects! Here is your update for the week:
- Discord AMAs. This week, we’ll only be having one AMA in discord, with the second on GatherTown. The first one is on Wednesday at 2pm PT. Whether you want feedback on an idea or help with a Hedera service, we'll be hanging out in the Hedera Discord #ama channel.
- GatherTown Trivia + AMA. The second AMA session this week will be on Friday the 29th at 7am pt and will take place in GatherTown (not Discord). During this AMA, Hedera and the Filecoin team will be doing some fun trivia and giving away some swag to participants who answer questions correctly, so be sure to brush up on your Hedera and Filecoin+IPFS knowledge (hint, we may be dropping some of the questions into the random hackathon room in Discord)! The HashPack team will also be giving away HBARs to the most engaged participants. You can join us on Friday at 7am pt here.
- Taskbar Quest #4: Sharing is caring. Earn 200 hbars by either sharing 2 things that you’ve learned throughout this hackathon that has helped you, help 2 people by answering questions they have or do a mixture of both. For the things you have learned, enter them into the taskbar quest room and take a screenshot of it to upload to your quest. If you are assisting other people, take a screenshot of your replies to their question and proceed to upload to taskbar.
- Pitch Practice and Mentorship. Part of your project submission needs to include a 5 min (or less) video of you pitching your project. If you would like to practice your pitch and receive feedback from some of our mentors before you submit your project, please fill out this form. If you cannot make it to any of the times listed, you can reach out to our mentors to schedule 1:1 office hours in our Discord or check the mentorship tab. Mentors from each challenge as well as from the Hedera team are here to help make sure you succeed, so be sure to reach out if you need anything.
That's it for this week, happy hacking!
